About Me
Tina Huang earned both her Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) degrees from National Chiao Tung University in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Following her graduation, she embarked on a professional journey at IBM, where she served as a software test specialist. While many would consider this a dream job, Tina always sensed that something was missing. After spending two and a half years at IBM, she made a daring decision to pursue a new career in animation.
Tina devoted a substantial amount of time to keeping up with the latest industry trends and establishing connections within the field. Her continuous efforts were focused on refining her animation skills with the goal of creating work that deeply resonates with people. In May 2020, Tina completed her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree at the Academy of Art University. Presently, she has just commenced her journey in the animation industry as a 3D animator. Noteworthy attributes of Tina include her ability to thrive in team environments, exhibit strong collaboration skills, and effectively manage time. Moreover, she possesses a robust technical background and excels in problem-solving.
Looking ahead to 2023, Tina has set her sights on delving into web development and rigging to broaden her skill set, all while continuously honing her animation skills. If you are interested in connecting with her, please feel free to reach out to her here. https://www.linkedin.com/in/tinahuang79/
Producer at Rooster Teeth, April 18, 2021, Jenn managed Tina directly
"Tina came to Rooster Teeth in August of 2020 to work on the eighth season of RWBY. From her very first assignment, it was clear that she was a great fit for the team and for the show. She was eager to learn, always asking questions and making sure she fully understood the task at hand, and always put her best foot forward. This is on top of her simply being a kind and compassionate individual, which I think showed itself in the art she produced. To me, the willingness to take in new information and use it to grow is one of the most important skills an artist can have, and it is one that Tina showed every day. For her work, I highly recommend Tina as an animator."
